Ludhiana to Char Dham Yatra

Day 1: Ludhiana to Haridwar (Approx. 320 km / 7-8 hrs)

Start your sacred journey early from Ludhiana and drive to Haridwar. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and in the evening, witness the famous Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri. Overnight stay in Haridwar.

Day 2: Haridwar to Barkot (Approx. 180 km / 7-8 hrs)

After breakfast, proceed towards Barkot via Dehradun and Mussoorie. En route, enjoy scenic views and stop by Kempty Falls. On arrival in Barkot, relax at your hotel. Overnight stay in Barkot.

Day 3: Barkot to Yamunotri and back (Drive + 6 km trek one way)

Drive to Janki Chatti (approx. 40 km) and begin your 6 km trek to Yamunotri, the origin of River Yamuna. After darshan and rituals at the temple, return to Barkot by evening. Overnight stay in Barkot.

Day 4: Barkot to Uttarkashi (Approx. 100 km / 4-5 hrs)

Leave for Uttarkashi, a beautiful hill town located on the banks of the Bhagirathi River. Visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in the evening. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.

Day 5: Uttarkashi to Gangotri and back (Approx. 100 km each way)

Early morning, depart for Gangotri Temple, nestled in the Himalayas. Take a holy dip in the sacred Bhagirathi River and seek blessings. Return to Uttarkashi by evening. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.

Day 6: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi (Approx. 200 km / 8-9 hrs)

Start early and drive towards Guptkashi, located near Kedarnath. En route, enjoy views of river confluences and Himalayan valleys. On arrival, check-in and rest. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

Day 7: Guptkashi to Kedarnath (Drive + 16 km trek)

Drive to Gaurikund via Sonprayag, and start the 16 km trek to Kedarnath Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Reach the temple by evening. Overnight stay near Kedarnath (basic accommodation).

Day 8: Kedarnath to Guptkashi (Trek back + drive)

After morning darshan at Kedarnath, trek back to Gaurikund and drive to Guptkashi. Rest and relax after the physically demanding journey. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.

Day 9: Guptkashi to Badrinath (Approx. 200 km / 8 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Badrinath, the final dham of your yatra. Visit Mana village (India's last village) if time permits. In the evening, attend the divine aarti at Badrinath Temple. Overnight stay in Badrinath.

Day 10: Badrinath to Rudraprayag (Approx. 160 km / 6-7 hrs)

After morning darshan and a visit to sacred spots like Tapt Kund and Brahma Kapal, begin your return journey to Rudraprayag. Overnight stay in Rudraprayag.

Day 11: Rudraprayag to Haridwar (Approx. 160 km / 6 hrs)

Leave for Haridwar after breakfast. Upon arrival, relax or explore the local markets and ghats. Optional: Evening Aarti again. Overnight stay in Haridwar.

Day 12: Haridwar to Ludhiana (Approx. 320 km / 7-8 hrs)

Conclude your divine Char Dham Yatra and drive back to Ludhiana with spiritual memories and blessings from the four sacred dhams.
